Giant fun with Jack the lad
Dec 22 2006
The countdown to Christmas is almost complete and preparations are well under way at a North Wales theatre for the annual traditional pantomime.
This year's production at Theatr Colwyn, Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay, is Jack And The Beanstalk, a fun-filled family show with lots of songs, gags, slapstick and more.
Taking the lead role of Jack, the boy who swaps the family cow for a handful of beans, is Stuart Boother.
A graduate of Mountview Academy of Arts, London, Stuart earned rave reviews for his performances in the title role which he under-studied during the national tour of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar.
Among the performers joining him on stage will be Rocket FM disc jockey John Cooper as King Willy The Umpteenth and Danny Coll as Tilly Trott.
Once again the talented young performers of The Pearl Shaw School of Performing Arts will be bringing a touch of their special magic to the show.
Jack And The Beanstalk, which is presented by New Pantomime Productions Ltd and Theatr Colwyn, opens on Saturday, December 23 and runs until January 6.
